About Us

Study in America was founded by Mariuza Odle, a Brazilian-American happily living in the United States since 1983.

“I have been working in the international business field for the past ten years. I  have earned a  bachelors degree from Duquesne University, specilizing  in International Business and a master’s degree from Carlow University. Both universities are located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mariuza’s idea for Study in America started by volunteering and helping foreign exchange students come to the United States. My team and I have developed the experience necessary to counsel prospective students and assist them while they adjust to the culture, embrace the similarities and accept the differences.
